Lucy was born on 18th 1994. She is in the seventh grade class of Rhotia Primary School in Rhotia, Tanzania.
Her fathers name is John, and her mothers name is Anna. She has four brothers whose names are Cornel who is 27 years old, Maximillian 23 years old, Petro 21 years old and Pampili 19 years old. She has six sisters whose names are Prisca 36 years old, is married, Irene 32 years old, who is married, Aurelia 29 years old, who is married, Modest 25 years old, who is married, Coletha who is 16, and Cornelia who is 9 years old.
Lucy lives with her parents in a home about 3.5 km from Rhotia Primary School. The family earns their income from a farm about 3 hectors (about 7.5 acres) in size, on which they grow maize, beans, peagion nuts and sometimes wheat. She helps on the farm with her brothers and sisters. Her father is 92 years old and always sick. She helps with farm work and domestic jobs. Her family earns their income from the farm from the crops and some to sell to earn other expenses. The harvest is sometimes very little, so sometimes they must get help from the government or neighbors. So the parents are not able to pay other school expenses.
She is doing well in the class. She likes English, Science, and Mathematics. She has trouble with social studies. For fun she likes netball and reading story books. When she finishes primary school 2008-2009 she would like to join secondary school and after that she would like to become a teacher. She would like to do the computer training class, because she wants to learn more about other people in the world, and she is interested in America and would like to know more about America and Americans.
